Are you into collecting the current modern basketball cards? Well, as we all know, some of the cards that become the most valuable are rookie cards! Now, what about valuable 2007/2008 rookie cards? Well, here are the ones that are getting hot so far.

Upper deck card number 11 from that year features young Kevin Durant of the Seattle Sonics. I have seen this card go for as much as $25! Also remember that having your basketball cards graded can increase the value, as most modern dealers always get the cards graded, especially if they are being sold online.

How about Upper Deck card number 20? Also from 2007-2008, this card features rookie Greg Oden. This Portland Trailblazer seems to be blazing himself a trail indeed, and the collectors who get a hold of this basketball rookie card will be doing no different!

Also, don’t forget about Al Horford of the Atlanta Hawks. This native of the Dominican Republic is pictured on Upper Deck card number 16. I don’t know what you think, but I see this card as a possible strong investment, with potential value to the upside. Not to mention that the basketball card itself is awesome. A lot of these new Upper deck cards look awesome.

It is a shame that Topps stopped printing Basketball cards back in the 1980s. They would undoubtedly have printed some serious basketball cards today. However, this just makes the Topps basketball cards that are around more valuable yet, so don’t pass one of those up if you ever get the chance to nab one.
